No wait on Labor Day at 6 30 pm. Good start. Nice window table. Not too load so conversation not a problem. Two for one happy hour drinks but lifes too short to drink house wine so opted for one glass of decent malbec. Unfortunately it arrived in the most disgustingly dirty glass I ever saw. Gritty on the outside so pretty hard to miss. Waiter took it away but replacement did not show up for a good 10 or more minutes. Nice menu. Wife chose ahi tuna, mother-in-law chose rack of lamb and I ordered the small rib eye. Rave reviews for the first two entrees. Mine was ok. Way too thin. More suited for a steak sandwich. I will say that the iceburg wedge with crumbled blue cheese and bacon was fantastic. Felt like capuccino but not served here. Would I wait for a table here? No. Will I return? Yes, to try the seared tuna and the lettuce wedge.

Stay away during peak hours! Dirty and had to wait too long for everything! Food is good, but service soooo slow. To top it off, their bread oven was broken! That's half the reason to go an outback! They need to manage that place a little better.

I am not much for chains, but Outback was okay. I just had a blue cheese pecan side salad and a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar, and it was fine. I also tasted the crab stuffed shrimp and it was good, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals. Only problem was service (esp. getting the check) was a bit slow, albeit friendly. Manager also came by tables to check how everything was. This is FL, so note: crowded even at 5:30 in the evening (people eat early!)

It is what it is: average food at average prices with average service.

Crikey, mate. We were raring to go for a bonzer night in the Outback, with our 95 year old grandma and a 3-month-old baby, this was sure to be a life lived by the Rules of Rafferty. Fair dinkum. Ok, forget it, I can't do the Crocodile Dundee schtick anymore. This was an overwhelmingly mediocre experience. Our server was incredibly sweet (I think her name was Lauren?) and tried her best, but it was just a clusterbomb all the way down. Nine adults and an infant is a pretty tough row to hoe, but of the six steaks that were ordered, I think two came out as specified. The one that was sent back (ordered medium well, delivered seared) came back charred. I never got my salad. The main reason you go to Outback is the main reason you go to Starbucks or McDonalds: Predictability. You should always know exactly what you're going to get and exactly what it's going to be like. When the steaks come out all messed up and the sides never arrive, that is the wrong kind of predictable.

Overall it was a great experience! We were seated faster than what our wait time originally was. Our waiter was fast and checked on us several times. We never had to ask for drink refills and even got a 2nd. loaf of bread while we waited for our entrees. The entrees came fast and cooked as requested. Definitely going back. (I believe our waitress name was Keeley). --------------------------------- Post Edit: Went back on Jan 1st, 2014 and it was a disappointing experience this time around. First we were hopeful to take advantages of the no-worries Wednesday special since it is still showing on Outback's website (I just checked today - Jan 6th - and it is still there). The waitress informed that it was discontinued. I am not so sure. My wife ordered her dish with garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries as sides. It came with seasoned rice and we were told the garlic mashed potatoes was not available anymore (apparently I got the last spoonful on my dish - it was almost cold). She ordered a baked potato to replace the mashed potatoes which came within a reasonable time but her sweet potato fries came as she had already finished eating her meat. I realize we were in late (credit card was swiped at 10:09PM) but it does not justify the mistakes... Our waitress was Christina.

I am not a fan of chain restaurants. However, I had to write about my recent experience at this particiular location. My friend and I went for dinner at 7:30 on Saturday night. We did the call ahead seating. When we got there, we still had to wait for 15 minutes. No big deal. What was nice is they had a server passing around samples for the people waiting for tables. We snacked on Blooming Onion petals & chicken bites. I never saw them do that before and thought it was a nice touch. Our server was fantastic. My friend & I shared the artichoke flatbread. OMG, it was amazing. Very thin & crispy. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly with very good crispy french fries. My friend ordered a salad that he enjoyed very much. It had chicken, nuts, and several other things in it. I would definetely try it next time. The restauarant was very clean. It was a great experience & I will definetely go back. I am holding one star back because the hostess was a little snippy.

We've never had a bad meal here whether we eat in or use their take out. The main negative is their wait time, which I guess is a feature of a popular eating establishment.

Hands down I love their Prime Rib, cooked medium rare with steamed broccoli and lobster tail. Add a beer and its even better, I usually have to reserve a slice of Prime Rib but other than that the wait is not that bad ending in either 10 to 15 min. Can't say much about their other food since the Prime Rib is the only thing I eat.

Reservations were for 7:30. 8:03 and still waiting for a table. Not impressed so far. Bottom line, food was great, service was good, but not sure if it was because of Mother's Day, and the Kitchen was overwhelmed, but we didn't get out of there until almost 9:45pm. Looong night. Don't think I'll be going back to that Outback again.

I guess to start, I should mention that I am a fan of Outback. It's not the "best steak I've ever had", but it's the best steak I've had at a reasonable price. I'm new to the Boca area but I've, of course, been to Outback before. Pretty much the same menu as the others. Ordered the Ahi Tuna for an appetizer....which is always a good choice. I was a little disappointed that the clam chowder was taken off the menu. My wife ordered the chicken Cesar and I got the outback special with a skewer of shrimp, some mushrooms, rice, and mashed potatoes. My wife said the salad was pretty good but nothing special. My steak was cooked at a beautiful medium rare and was delicious. The shrimp was a little dry, but the rest was done well. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will be going back from time to time.

Went there with a party of 13. They had to assign two servers to expedite the food process. As it was broken down into two parts we had a female and male server. Well it must have been this guys first day on the job and it really showed, as he didn't quite show his face around our table much and seemed very confused. We actually had to give the female server cash as a tip since she is the one that took care of us most the time. Even the manager agreed to our frustrations!

It was like a Seinfeld episode: After years of obligatory dining at the Outback, and kinda sorta satisfaction ("it's not great, but it's OK for what it is...") last night's miserable experience put a knife in the back of any future visits. My party of four arrived at 9:15 and was seated quickly at a booth in a quiet spot. Good, so far. Our young waiter appeared for our scripted and rehearsed drinks order ("What can I start you off with from the bar?"). No one was drinking because we'd had drinks and Stone Crabs a couple of hours earlier in Hollywood at Billy's (see separate review) and wanted to preserve at least a semblance of sobriety. Water all around, one with no ice and lemon. They got that wrong from the start: four with ice and no lemon in evidence. Straighten this out with the young lady who delivered the water. What we had here was a failure to communicate; the first of several in a series of increasing angst. Young waiter arrives to take our orders. OK. Two chopped salads, one order Kookaburra wings (they looked a lot like chicken, though, when they finally got delivered), one steak, one Bloomin Burger, medium rare, one pasta Alfredo, hold the animal protein. Now the ugliness begins in earnest. Chopped salads get delivered. Standard grade bot one was significantly smaller than the other. I choose not to make a big deal of this. Salads are dished out by the server, so maybe he's wall-eyed and I don't want to make a big deal of his infirmity. [Note to OSI Restaurants: the salad portions used to be considerably larger!!!! This is a disappointment. Why skimp on literally $.10 worth of lettuce???] Mains get delivered. But wait, I ordered the Bloomin' Burger with bits of their Bloomin Onion. NO ONION BITS! Wait for the waiter. No waiter. Wait for the waiter to appear to ask if everything (anything) is OK. No waiter. Finally ask another server to summon the waiter. Waiter appears. Hey waiter, where's the bloody onion bits? Waiter says he'll get some in the kitchen and bring them back. 5 minutes pass, no onion bits, no waiter. Other three in the party have now eaten most of their meals. No waiter, no onion bits. Onion-less burger and fries are now cold. Waiter appears and hovers. "They're getting the onion bits," he says. I say, "This burger and fries are now cold. I'll give you exactly five minutes to get me a new, hot burger and fries and don;t forget the onion bits. It it takes any longer than five minutes, don't bring me the burger, bring me the manager." 10 minutes pass. Everyone else has finished eating. Waiter shows up with correct order. It is now one hour since we sat down, ONE HOUR TO GET A GODDAMNED HAMBURGER AS ORDERED AT THE OUTBACK. DO YOU HEAR ME OSI CORPORATION? I send the burger back. I say, "Take the burger away, off the check, get me the check and get me the manager." I wait another five minutes. No check, no manager. No luck. Anyway, that will be my last visit to an Outback. At least Lauren had the manager stop by and check. I blame the manager first for not properly supervising the wait staff, and then the waiter for not being more attentive. These chains thrive on repeat business and it hurts them to lose a formerly steady customer, but they lost me. BTW, OSI, the company that owns Outback, also owns Carrabba's, Bonefish Grill, Fleming's and Roy's. You might want to reconsider spending any $$ with these clue-less bozos. They just hired a new CEO, maybe she can whip these bums into shape.

Father's Day a day to celebrate. Outback steakhouse was a familiar place for our 99 year old dad to enjoy this special day. Reluctantly, my wife and I thought it a good idea since, in the past, he had enjoyed meals of steaks, ribs, burgers and skewered shrimp with our mom. Unfortunately it was a total disappointment. Dad's Cesar salad was drenched in dressing and with the exception of the anchovies, offered little taste. His filet mignon was served like a pancake, less than a half inch thick and the diameter of a teacup. The side dish of Aussie fries were limp and saturated with deep fry oil. My wife and I played it safe. We ordered cheeseburgers which were very second rate compared to places like Zinburger. Served on a tasteless bun, with no imagination on a saucer sized plate resembled a McDonald's single patty cheeseburger, not a steakhouse burger. On the positive side we were seated promptly, and the server was fine. Thus, one star.

I have been going to Outback for at least 15 years and this is by far the worst Outback I have ever experienced. The food and service 0 stars!!! Arrived today at 11:00 am on Sunday and left at 12. We were the only customers in there all this time????Blooming onion was greasy, salty, extremely oily. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms (tasted like straight white wine and poor presentation) also got shrimp on the Barbie burnt and overcooked as pictured. Horrible presentation. My husband orders BBQ ribs and chicken... Dry no BBQ and also burnt. We did let waiter know but we still paid our bill in full plus tip (our decision) but was not happy. Couldn't wait to get out if there. Will never be back again!!! Don't go to this Outback!!!!

Too long a wait to get in ..they should allow reservations specially for a Saturday Night as there is no place to be seated comfortably and the mosquitos outside are very agressive! The nice touch is that they bring you some samplers while you are sitting out there dying from hunger. Our waiter Kevin was very nice and attentive and he saved the day and actually the 4th Star was because of his service! The food was OK ....they used to be much better in the past ....now our go to Steak joint is LongHorns as I find the meats there of better quality and taste, the one in Delray Beach is good! All in all an OK meal! .....3.5 stars

Horrendous experience. The food was barely edible. Part of our sweet potato was black and gross. The manager rushed it away from the table. I've never seen a sweet potato look like that. My soup took 25 minutes. When I mentioned I hadn't received it the servers response was "I put it in. The kitchen is slammed". She then brought my husband a cold steak. He let her know and she informed him that medium rare steaks come out cool. Horrible argumentative server. Just won't be rushing back to this location.

This Boca Raton Outback tends to get really really packed. This location is OK the staff is friendly but the service is really slow they need to work on the service but my sirloin was good and so was my chili cheese fries this location needs to work on service.

Well, it's wasn't a terrible experience, but I would say visiting Outback was definitely a 3-star experience. I enjoyed my lunch, but there was just something missing. I'm just not sure what! By the looks of my table, a family with a baby must have sat there last because there were carrots on the window blinds. So, the claims about it being a bit cleaner perhaps are substantiated. Parking is a bit of a pain, since the lot is tight, but I won't knock points off for that. I've found parking to be ridiculous in this area in general. Just an "eh" experience.

It's an Outback! Good food and the wait was not too bad. Service was very good. To be honest, the Outback located on SR 7 a bit further north tends to be more mellow, better service, and overall cleaner... That being said - if you have a hankering for an Outback - this one will certainly do.

  • Jonathan P.

My wife and I both used to work for the Carrabba's/Outback chain. My how these chains have gone downhill over the past few years. Service and food times are ridiculous. To cut costs, these companies have dramatically cut staff, no buss boys, and the servers are running 5-6 table stations instead of 2-3 like they did for the last 10 years. The servers don't have the ability to give the amount of attention required to each customer like they should. They are constantly in the weeds.

I admit it, there was a time in my life when I considered the Outback Steakhouse to be my favorite restaurant. Granted, that was more than a decade ago, and, further in my defense, I swear that the Outback was offering better food back then. It seems over the years, obviously in the hopes of implementing a "please all" mentality, they have greatly simplified their menu, tragically, at the sacrifice of the last shreds of quality they had. I do remember when the steaks they served were decent, at least for the price, but I have noticed a gradual decline over both the quality of the meat, and the attention given to each steak being served, two important elements that are all the more indispensable considering that the Outback prides itself on being a Steakhouse. As much as I try to avoid using a single dining experience in my reviews to define a restaurant, I am tempted to do so with my last experience, not out of laziness, but just because it so accurately represented what Outback has become. So, brace yourself. The last time I went, I ordered a prime rib, cooked medium rare. I'm typically more of a medium guy, especially when it comes to American-style steak, but this was a preemptive decision made based on the last time I came, where I ordered a medium steak and got something that was well done. Despite my best intentions, my "medium rare" steak came out tough all the way through, with little more than a faint sliver of pink down the center. Conversely, my dad's steak, which was ordered medium well, came out red in the center--clearly rarer than the "medium rare" steak I had ordered. Another member of my party ordered the Victoria Filet which, after being sent back for being tough and overly cooked, was replaced, by the manager, with an equally tough piece that didn't even resemble a filet. It was instantly sent back for attempt #3, which at this point ended up in a to go box. Given the price, I suppose expecting better quality meat may be a lost cause, but the lack of attention to the doneness of each steak is less forgivable. So what do you get for $11.99, assuming everything goes well? - Sitting down, you are initially served with freshly baked, honey-tinged brown bread and whipped butter. (Don't get too excited, the meal goes downhill from here.) - A "salad", which is actually just some scraps of iceberg lettuce thrown together with a few cuts of onion and tomato and covered in grated cheese, oversized croutons, and a thick dressing, with more calories than a turkey sandwich and about as much nutrition as a glass of water. - A 12 oz. Outback "Special" steak, not likely enough to satisfy the average appetite; spend anywhere from $4-$10 more for a larger or different cut of meat. - A loaded baked potato, or similar side dish. The baked potatoes are actually somewhat decent, if you can avoid ordering yours "loaded" (that is, loaded with a wanton helping of calories). You are already breaking the calorie bank with the above, and this is without ordering any of the popular appetizers such as the Bloomin' Onion (aka Bloomin' Calorie Bomb) or Cheese Fries (aka Calorie Minefield Fries), or, desserts like the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, a cute play on words and, admittedly, a guilty pleasure of mine. It's easy to see why the Outback has come under fire in recent years as being one of the most heart-destructive restaurants in America. I also thought it worth mentioning that, aside from the occasional facetiously titled dish (Queensland Salad, the above mentioned Chocolate Thunder, etc), and oddly placed wall paraphernalia (a boomerang here, a kangaroo there), there is nothing Australian about the restaurant. Amazingly, the Outback still packs 'em in each night, particularly over the Winter months when the snowbirds fly in from the North to take refuge in Florida's temperate winters. With this much guaranteed patronage, I suppose there's no need to attempt to improve. But I implore you, the reader, armed with the foresight above, to be the better eater; seek out some alternatives and find something you will truly enjoy.

Service was attentive and prompt. Food was as expected - a bit salty. Bread was the usual disappointment - it can be squashed in to 1/10 it's volume because it has a lot of air and not much substance(Wonder Bread). Good place for basic burger, fish, steak and like entree. I will occasion OB, but not a first choice.

Outback is always good! Today we had bufalo wings for apettizers and I had half rack baby ribs! Simply delicious! My husband had a lamb that is not on the regular menu.

Must say that I have tried this location multiple times hoping for improvement and to get the food as ordered without any issues that has NOT been the case but just once . The service is poor , staff inattentive and the food is often wrong , served at room temperature definitely not hot and not as ordered . You need to ask for bread and hunt your server done for beverage refills because they do not follow up to see how everything is . Last week I left my meal uneaten because it was burnt well done and I ordered medium . But by the time the manager noticed it was too late to wait for a replacement Why go out to dinner to not eat and be aggravated? Absolutely Not worth the aggravation

Do not order "curbside pick up" from this location. Ordered from here this evening. Everything was sloppy. No dressing for my salad. Side dish for entree was wrong, no butter for the bread. No utensils. Not impressed

We came here for lunch. Most people complained about the service here but we had a very good server named Forrest. He was polite and kept checking on us. The Alice Springs quesadilla was just so-so. My husband had a crispy chicken Cobb salad that was large and tasty. My only complaint is that a Diet Coke is $2.79. That's a little pricey. We will come here again.

Horrible! The last two times my family has been there the steaks are very overcooked and completely dry and so is the chicken.

For the price they are worth 5 stars.I go there often and always get a good meal, a nice piece of meat cooked right and terrific side's or salads. The price is even better if you have one of their 15 percent off coupons.Ignore the poor ratings and try it for yourself.

Very poorly run Outback location, do they even have a manager? I met up with some family for my aunt's birthday for dinner, we were a party of 7, first we were sat in this huge round table where we could hardly hear the person across from us and it didn't have any lightning on top because the bulbs were out. My aunts requested to have us move because they couldn't see the menu, the second table was much better, it had lights, it was rectangular and we could actually talk to each other across the table. Prior to our move our server said she would be bringing out bread, after our move we were still waiting 20 min + and still no bread, yet all of the other tables around us had bread, eventually it arrived after reminding our server several times. I opted for the french onion soup which was very tasty and the 9oz Outback Special steak cooked medium rare with a side of steamed veggies. My steak was a bit tough and overcooked, but that didn't bother me as much as the fact that once our entrees came out, our soup and salad dishes were not cleared, in fact they were not cleared at all even after ordering desert! Not only were out soup and salad dishes not cleared but some of our entree dinners weren't cleared either even when dessert came out, we sat there looking at dirty plates including eaten rib bones, not very appetizing! The food has definitely lost quality, but I am amazed that management would not go around and be appalled at the lack of service at this location.

Valentines day. Super busy right? We have 3 seats for you guys at the bar right here. After a 18 hr drive moving to Florida from New York, I meet "Jewels" ... You know- THE jewels. My life has changed. The most amazing, personable, attentive, not to mention extremely gorgeous- Jewels. Hands down best server / bartender I've had- probably in my whole life. If you haven't been here, come and see Jewels! Oh, yeah! Foods amazing... All seriousness... Food is great. Service is great. Staff all wonderful and helpful- well run. Kudos! I approve.

Not even a one star, staff was unorganized, wings were undercooked and service was horrible. My waiter decided to bring us bread after serving the tables that we're sat after is and he saw me writing a review. Advice, choose another location!!! Even the food we ordered was undercooked and horrible. The manager did come and comp the bill but we left hungry!!! Sad uh... The manager after chomping the entire table gave us $40 in gift cards and a free blooming onion gift card. A very nice gesture.

1/2 a star if I could. Doesn't Outback offer bread if you want it?....we were never asked by our server. We sat down and orderd drinks, but they took about 10 minutes to get to us. The server said the bar must be backed up. The server "forgot" to bring out one of our salads, when we brought it to her attention, she returned to say that it was just sitting there waiting to be picked up. That was minor. The main courses were served and what do you know....one of the steaks was over cooked and full of fat, chewy blah. Can you believe it took 2 more steaks to get it right?...30 minutes later! Where the heck does that happen?...at this location apparently. The manager came to the table to offer free dessert. I hear you bro, but everyones food got cold while waiting for the multiple replacement steaks to arrive... Hopefully you get the point.

We will never be back to an Outback Restaurant ever again, anywhere!!! The rib eye was tasteless and chewy, my filet was tasteless no seasoning on it whatsoever. Must be select meat NOT choice. My husband had a martini, I had a blackberry martini with absolutely no vodka in them or very watered down. His was on the rocks I smelled it and no smell or trace of vodka. The Aussie fries were a tad bit better than Mcdonalds! My Lobster with the surf and turf was better than anything I had there. Good Luck Outback because with cutting corners you will be out of business soon!! Also Coral Springs Outback has the worst service, smells horrible when you walk in, food is aweful!! Want to give 0 stars but had to leave a star for this review.

I would give this place no stars but 1 is the minimum. Do to the reason that some previous guest got drunk and couldn't handle them self they are cutting off the guest sitting next to me that's quietly and very peacefully enjoying him self, but was cut off after having 4 mix drinks with in 2 hours! What is going on in this place... I guess you can't come and celebrate here. Me personally I have worked and managed bars in my younger days and can't believe this is happening.

We liked the meats we ordered, chicken and steak (the wood fired menu). Our sodas had to be sent back. They both tasted like they were made 30 minutes prior and allowed to just sit so the ice could melt, diluting the soda. They tasted like water. The fries tasted like they sat around for 30 minutes also (were quite soft). Maybe we were 30 minutes late? I love their bread and butter, but how could they screw that up? Price: B+ Food: Meats: B+, sides: C- Atmosphere: C+ Service: A-

Have been coming to outback on and off for years and I think the chain has gone downhill. The last few times I have visited this location it has been one thing or another. Tonight, they brought out my sons kids cheeseburger with a stale bun (when I cut it in half it broke into 4 pieces) with meat that had a very weird taste to it and room temperature fries. The coconut shrimp came out Burnt, the porterhouse was far below average intact I would rather go to killers ale house and eat there porterhouse. At least the sweet potato was still delicious. Our server apologized and was very nice, the place was a ghost town at 745 when we arrived and I think I know why.

Total disappointment. I used to be a big fan, but after last night, I won't be returning. My number one complaint is for I think it was $9.50 (somewhere in there) you get 3 OUNCES of wine! They should serve it in shot glasses. Insanity! We double checked with the waitress, thinking it was a mistake, but she confirmed they consider 3 oz a glass of wine. Their house salad was always one of my favorites, but there wasn't enough salad dressing to lightly coat the thing, no croutons anymore, and it was just bleh. The potato soup was still good and our server was wonderful, but... Won't be returning anytime in the near future.

Arrived around 8:15pm, not crowded, seated within 3 minutes, booth as requested. Not crowded. Ordered the rib-chicken for my friend and started to order a good size steak i was looking foward to. wehm i told the waitress I wanted it cooked Pittsburg closer to medium rare, she told me they had a problem with the stove not being hot enough for charring so I took a smaller 9oz steak instead. I said medium rare, Pittsbug if they can. Not a problem. My friends fries were cool, I would guess it was 15 minuntes before dinners came out but minor objection. When my steak plate came out, the steak was bleeding red like fresh roadkill. I NEVER send anything back - it's part of being flexible but this one was barely cooked so i asked her to have it cooked up, ple3ase. It must have been 15 minutes before it came back. I'd already eaten cold fries from my friend's plater and a couple of her ribs. I dfnished my own potato but when it finally came back with another potato, it was hardly different. Still red, bleeding. I took a bite and had it boxes for next day's lunch. Look, the waitress told me there was a heat problem. Excuse me: this is a STEAK HOUSE? Medium rare is not bleeding red the first time or second. Sorry i just wasn't happy. There wwere so few people in the place last night Tuesday, i couldn't believe how slow it was. Ok, buyer beware. Thankfully, the gal told me about the heat / stove problem. I should have just had a fish dinner. It's not for me....these franchises....i was really loking forw3ard to a great steak Pittsburg style...I can do better myself on the grill. Disappointed. Im sure i'm the exception. no great paologies from the waitress when i shyowed her how little it was cooked. I still left her 20% Thanks for reading...I'm sure im the exception.

One of the worst lunches I have ever had. Very slow, 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. We had the $7.99 lunch special, nothing special about it, one small salad and a half a sandwich which had about 2 bites of meat in it. Never again!!!

We always enjoy a good cheap steak at Outback. Don't get me wrong, $100 for a family of four is anything but cheap. My prime rib was excellent. Perfectly medium rare and the horseradish cream was superb. We can always count on Outback for a good solid family meal.

Terrific Restaurant have been there every time we come to Florida. Had a problem with the temperature of some of our foods and was quickly remedied. Manager is on the spot and very attentive. Totally recommend.
